Goldstar International School is a private international institution located in the Republic of Burundi, offering the renowned Ugandan Curriculum from Nursery, Primary and Secondary levels. Established in June 2023, the school was founded with a vision of providing quality, affordable and holistic education that prepares learners to excel both nationally and internationally. Since its inception, Goldstar International School has remained committed to nurturing academic excellence, discipline, innovation, leadership and strong moral values while creating a learner-centred environment where every child is empowered to reach his or her full potential.

Our Story
From our founding in 2023 to becoming one of Burundi’s emerging centres of educational excellence, every milestone reflects our commitment to quality education, innovation and holistic learner development.
Established by visionary education enthusiasts to provide quality, affordable and internationally recognised education through the Ugandan Curriculum.
The school introduced structured academic programmes following the Ugandan Curriculum, supported by qualified teaching and administrative staff.
Learners participated in sports, debates, educational trips, cultural activities, leadership programmes and community outreach while developing academically and socially.
Goldstar continues to expand its academic programmes, integrate technology, strengthen partnerships and invest in facilities, ensuring learners are prepared for the future.

Since opening its doors in June 2023, Goldstar International School has steadily grown into one of Burundi’s promising international schools, offering quality education through the Ugandan Curriculum.
Goldstar International School officially opened its doors in Bujumbura, Burundi.
The school introduced internationally recognised Nursery, Primary and Secondary programmes.
Goldstar welcomes both Burundian and international learners, promoting diversity, unity and mutual respect.
